Would be great to just fly that hauler into lowsec just see how many pirates you can pop =P It'll make for some great bragging rights

A year or two someone popped a scorpion battleship at a gate using a Badger Mk2. The story is way back in the annals of crime and punishment--search "badger scorpion" or something like that and you might find it.

shame it wouldn't work now Evil or Very Mad

Why not?

ECM. It took a long time, and it worked because the badger had the battleship ECMed all the time. As it is now, one cycle dropping would be enough for the badger to get totally destroyed, and even failing that, the drones would attack.

Hippo, the scorp had FoFs anyways, and I believe it was after the ECM changes.

The badger succeeded because:

1. It was uberplated to last over a minute under fire.
2. It jammed the scorp most of the time, and had a cap booster to keep up its cap.

Good heavens, its forum ***** ping-pong...

edit: let's keep quoting other ppl, see how much we can distort the forum dimensions Laughing

alrighty...

well i read that story, seems kinda funny, how did the badger survive 2 volleys of torps and cruises?

edit: oh crap. if you have 1024x786 you know what i mean

Yes, i do know what you mean. And I've probably just made it worse.

there should be a max quote limit or something..

edit: ahh now its off the page

It's called the "Hourglass Maneuver" and can get a thread locked for borking the tables. Embarassed
